white stripes on each side of face. Hornless
with some exceptions. |

Other Characteristics : These are
large goats having long thin neck which are
kept erect. The skin of the doe is very soft
and pliable. The udder is well attached and
carried high. Toggenberg are adaptable to a
variety of climates, and have, therefore,
been found in West Indies, Venezuela, South
Africa, Tanzania and in India. Average live
weight is 60-65 kg. |
